Indeed, I wish you luck too. It is not the best time of year to be looking for work, although once the students go back to school, I find getting part time retail work a fair bit easier.
And just so you don't feel alone, my freezer packed it in last week. We lost a few hundred... may thousand or so dollars worth of stuff. Oh well. Life!
ergh, ya pushed my mental reset button with that image of a freezer full of E. :P
Anyhoo- much lucks with the job search, you have unique talents in selling ungodly expensive things and library science - it seems they should be usable in some pursuit that keeps you happy and in the lettuce. (:
What I need, Ted, is for some crazy millionaire to set up a library that houses wristwatch books and catalogues and wants to pay me a hundred grand a year to run it. I can dream, can't I?
Actually, Rob, somebody suggested a freelance gig where I sell wristwatches on eBay on behalf of extremely busy (or lazy) watch collectors, and then take a cut of the profits, but I didn't like the sound of that idea. Too hand-to-mouth.
I wish you success in your job hunting, Teeritz!
