  3. Words cannot express the grief and sorrow at the loss of your mother. May God's hand of peace be on you and comfort you and yours through these times.

  4. My thoughts and sympathies are with you. You told her the most important thing and she knew it -- that means a lot, I think.

  8. Words are inadequate at a time like this, but I hope your memories of your time together can help somewhat. I'm glad you were able to be with her so close to the end.

  9. Thank you for sharing this very significant personal loss with us. It was a very touching post. I'm sure that your mother loved you very much and was proud of you. May she rest in peace.

  10. My mother passed 8 years ago this year, and it hasn't gotten any easier.

I also know, that on Mother's day (as it is today), it can get very tough when your friends and other family talking about what they are going to be doing with their own family.

My condolences. My thoughts are with you.

    1. Thank-you, Scott. Yes, it's been a rough month. My mother would have been 82 a week ago and today, being Mother's Day, is another reminder. However, she would have been the first to tell me not to mourn for too long because she would have said; "You have a family to look after."
It may well be true that "time heals all wounds", but some wounds leave scars.
      Take care, sir.
