The torn card was a failed attempt to cut out a Toucan beak for a class presentation my daughter was making the next day. I hate wasting paper, but I also suspected that I wasn't really going to have anything of major importance to write about for this update. And so, a fresh sheet of paper was too good for what I needed, but a torn piece of card-stock got it's chance to be useful. And yeah, the Groma's typeface is a winner, Martin!
Don't fret too much about the delay caused by the hurricane. it added about 4 days to a typer that I had delivered - which arrived on Thursday. In total, it tool 12 days. Mind you, I have the machined overhauled and working nicely within about 3 hours. I'm getting the hang of my own repairs now!
Looking forward to seeing your own thoughts on the machine.
I like the type face of my Groma and yours looks very nice indeed. But, why the torn card-stock?
