It's only 'an historic' if the h is silent, and these days very few people pronounce historic with a silent h. Same goes for hotel. The Oxford Guide to English Usage is fine with 'a historic', so that's good enough for me!Edward Biddulphhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13958778222555710461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1373508591984404978.post-26251781593808336562015-11-06T11:13:25.043-08:002015-11-06T11:13:25.043-08:00Enjoy your week and good luck with the Rolex. JUST got back into the house as the first drops of that storm hit.

I hate that kind of crap customer service. If it is a business in this era, you'd be throwing your online reputation open to abuse. I really feel sometimes that I should make a video about how to talk to another human from a service point of view. People seem to have NFI these days.

Nice work on the shelves. Say... that could be good for displaying typewriters. Hmmmmm.....

Have a better weekend Mr T. Personally, I don't want to send it back. I'd rather just have it repaired here. I just wish he was a little more honest regarding the authenticity of some parts.

And the Olivetti did come out looking mustardy, didn't it. Must be the lighting. In natural light, it's a grey-green.teeritzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05421337385763144173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1373508591984404978.post-78662389270811446752015-11-05T15:45:37.207-08:002015-11-05T15:45:37.207-08:00Nicely productive week!
